Our ad campaigns for Next Level Premium Hotels Lisbon aimed to boost direct bookings through the hotel’s website. This would help this hotel in Lisbon rely less on third-party booking platforms.
Prospecting and retargeting campaigns
Advantage+ Conversion campaigns
IDEA /
Moving to Nextlevel.pt
The main goal of the ad campaigns was to boost direct online bookings through the hotel’s website. To achieve this, we focused on driving high-quality traffic with strong purchase intent to the site. Additionally, we targeted potential customers further along the marketing funnel, persuading them to book directly on the hotel’s website instead of using third-party platforms.
EXECUTION /
A complete marketing funnel
We launched both prospecting and retargeting campaigns to achieve our goals.
The prospecting campaign targeted customers in the early stages of the marketing funnel, who were still deciding on a hotel or location. Its focus was on driving high traffic and making Next Level stand out among competitors.
The retargeting campaign targeted customers further along the funnel. It focused on two groups: visitors from the prospecting campaign who left the website without booking and users with a strong intent to travel. The second group included people who already knew their travel plans but might have booked through third-party platforms. The goal was to redirect these users to book directly on the hotel’s website.
Further optimisations needed
After running the ads for two months, we realised they were optimised for an audience with very low purchase intent. To address this, we needed to revisit the ads, including targeting, video hooks, CTAs, and overall messaging, to better reach the right audience. However, to avoid testing during a period of low seasonality, we decided to pause these optimisations and shift our focus to organic channels like SEO.
