HOW WE DID IT /
Since we had designed and developed the website ourselves, we didn’t perform a deep audit. Instead we did a quick audit and strategy. Then we moved into the quick tasks, including:
Improving security and crawlability;
Setting up sitemaps on Google and Bing search engines;
Create a TripAdvisor account for the restaurant;
Added canonical URLs.
Then we tackled high-impact and time-consuming tasks. This meant:
Keyword research and analysis;
Optimised meta data, headers and content;
Created descriptions for each product
Optimised the Google Business Profile (GMB);
Added them to Local directories and Apple Maps;
Multilingual SEO
Creating a contact and blog;
Added structured data to help Google understand their pages better;
Did blog posting;
Optimised internal linking;
Connected Google for WooCommerce;
Backlink building;
Created a Glovo, Bolt and Uber Eats account.
At the end of the 6-month period we also:
Improved their media SEO;
Did heatmap analysis.
Now, after the 6 months period we continue to:
Monitor keyword and page performance;
Improve CRO and UX with heatmap analysis;
Do blog posting;
Improve the speed of the website;
Do backlink building;
Work on Internal linking and structured data.
